In 1954, due to the construction of the television tower, gaming operations had to be relocated to Bad Cannstatt for two years . As a precaution, 12 members of the hockey department found the Hockey- und Tennis-Club Stuttgart e. V.

V., Stuttgart, founded in 1913 ”. In the same year the entry was made in the association register.

The new clubhouse was inaugurated in 1961 and the swimming pool opened in 1967. 1975 saw the inauguration of its own hockey and tennis hall and four other tennis courts. In 1988 and 2001, the two artificial turf pitches with floodlights were put into operation.

In 2005 the club celebrated the German field championship for the first time . The number of members exceeded the 800 mark. In 2006 the club won the European Cup of National Champions in field hockey and became German field hockey runner-up . In the same year the lacrosse department was founded.

In April / May 2007, the new artificial turf pitch was inaugurated in front of the clubhouse terrace.
