Matt Stutzman (born December 10, 1982 in Kansas City , Kansas ) is an American archer who was born without arms. He participated as a member of the US team in the London Paralympic Games in 2012 , where he won the silver medal in archery. Stutzman lives in Fairfield , Iowa . He is also portrayed in the film My Way to Olympia .

Life

His birth parents gave him up for adoption when he was four months old; he was adopted by the Stutzman family of Kalona , Iowa , at age 13 . He currently also holds the world record for the longest and most accurate shot in archery. Since he was born without arms, he had to learn to do everything that a person normally does with his arms with his feet.
