Matthew Woll

Matthew Woll (born January 25, 1880 in Luxembourg , † June 1, 1956 ) was an American trade unionist.

Career

Woll was President of the International Photo-Engravers Union of North America from 1906 to 1929 . From 1919 to 1955 he was Vice President of the American trade union federation AFL and, after its merger, from 1955 until his death, Vice President of the successor organization AFL-CIO .
