Matthias Aeschbacher (born January 28, 1992 ) is a Swiss wrestler .

Career as a wrestler

Matthias Aeschbacher has celebrated seven wreath festival victories so far, including his first mountain wreath victory in 2019 at the Bergschwingfest on Schwarzsee. He won further wreath festivals at the Südwestschweizer sub-association festival in 2019 in Leukerbad and at five cantonal / district association festivals (Oberländisches Schwingfest 2015 in Boltigen, Freiburg Cantonal Wrestling Festival 2017 in Villaz-St-Pierre, Mittelländisches Schwingfest 2018 in Habstetten, Oberaargauisches 2018 in Schwarzenbach / Huttigen and Seeländisches 2018 in Schwarzenbach / Huttigen Dotzigen).

There are also 13 mountain wreaths (4 Brünig, 2 Weissenstein, 2 Rigi, 2 Schwägalp, 2 Schwarzsee, 1 Stoos), 10 partial association wreaths (6 BKSV, 1 ISV, 1 NWSV, 1 NOSV, 1 SWSV), participation in the Kilchberger Schwinget 2014 and at the Unspunnen-Schwinget 2017 and 10 regional festivals (Lüderen-Schwinget 2016, Oberbühl-Schwinget 2015/2019, Lueg-Schwinget 2013/2017/2018, Wislisau-Schwinget 2017/2018, spring swinget zziwil 2018, Hallenschwinget Oberdiessbach 2019).

In 2019 he won his first Federal Wreath at the Swiss Wrestling and Alpine Festival in Zug.

In the official annual points list of the Swiss Wrestling Association , Aeschbacher took 5th place in 2019.

Life

Aeschbacher lives in Rüegsauschachen. He works as a bricklayer and foreman and is married to Madlen Aeschbacher. With a height of 191 cm, he has a weight of 120 kg.
