Matthias Büttner (born November 4, 1990 in Stendal ) is a German clerk and politician ( AfD ). He has been a member of the 19th German Bundestag for the AfD since 2017 .

Life

Büttner attended the Winckelmann-Gymnasium in Stendal, where he graduated from high school in June 2009 . He then did his community service in the Diakoniewerk Wilhelmshof . From 2010 to 2013, he completed vocational training as an IT system administrator .

Büttner has been a member of the AfD and deputy chairman of the Stendal district association since 2014.

As a result of the Stendal election fraud in the municipal elections in Saxony-Anhalt in 2014 , he was elected to the city council of the Hanseatic city of Stendal in the 2015 re-election.

In the federal election in 2017 , he was in the German Bundestag elected. In the Bundestag, Büttner is a full member of the Committee on Transport and Digital Infrastructure. As a deputy member, he is a member of the Committee on Families, Seniors, Women and Youth.

Büttner lives in Stendal and is single.
