Matthias Dankler

Matthias Dankler (born June 11, 1870 in Büsbach ; † after 1924) was a German politician ( DVP ).

Life

After graduating from elementary school, Matthias Dankler prepared for the teachers' seminar , which he attended from 1889 to 1892 in Kornelimünster . He then studied natural sciences, geology and art history. He also attended the Technical University of Aachen as a guest student . Dankler worked on scientific, agricultural, colonial and art history papers as well as the editor of agricultural, colonial and art history books and brochures.

During the First World War , Dankler was chairman for war bonds and head of prisoner-of-war aid in Kohlscheid .

After the end of the war, Dankler joined the German People's Party (DVP). In 1921 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he was a member until 1924.
