Matthias Friske

Matthias Friske (* 1968 ) is a German pastor, regional historian and literary historian.

Friske studied Protestant theology , medieval history and art history at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 1989 to 1996 and graduated in 1997 with a master's degree. This was followed by a vicariate from 1998 to 2000 and a doctorate in 2000 with a dissertation on the topic of the medieval churches on the Barnim . History - architecture - equipment . In 2002 he was first pastor in Anhalt, from 2004 to 2011 in the parish of Uckermark , and since 2011 in Salzwedel . Friske was also an art and archive officer in the Uckermark; he currently exercises this function in the parish of Salzwedel. The father of three children is married to a second marriage and has dealt with the history of Eastern Falconia and the Margraviate of Brandenburg in many studies , with a particular focus on medieval church construction and the furnishings of the churches of this time as well as topics from the history of literature. Most recently, Friske dealt with the history of Hannes Hegen's " mosaic " .
