Matthias Loebermann

Matthias Loebermann (* 1964 ) is a German architect and university professor .

academic career

From 1984 Loebermann studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and graduated in 1990 with a diploma. Between 1984 and 1988 he studied painting at the Academy of Arts in Stuttgart. From 1991 to 1994 he was project manager at F. Wagner in Stuttgart. Since 1999 he has been a member of the Association of German Architects (BDA), regional association of Bavaria.

In 2002 he was a professor at the Biberach University of Applied Sciences in the field of building science, building construction and design . From 2004 to 2008 he was head of the newly founded Institute for Construction and Building Technology (IKB) at Biberach University . In 2007 he was appointed to the founding convention of the Baukultur Foundation. Since 2008 he has been dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Building Air Conditioning at Biberach University.
