Matthias Meixner

Matthias Meixner (born March 8, 1894 in Zurndorf ; † November 24, 1977 in Vienna ) was an Austrian graduate farmer and politician ( GDVP ). From 1922 to 1923 he was a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Life

Meixner was born the son of the farmer Johann Meixner and attended elementary school in Zurndorf. Meixner then moved to the Lyceum in Bratislava and then studied at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Magyarovar and Vienna . In 1916 Meixner completed his studies with the academic degree Dipl.-Ing. from. After completing his studies, Meixner worked as a central inspector on the estate of Count Karolyi.

Meixner was married.

Meixner was sworn in as a member of the Burgenland state parliament on July 15, 1922, of which he was a member until November 13, 1923. He was also a member of the state party executive, but joined the Landbund for Austria in early October 1923 after the merger of these parties had been resolved. In the Landbund, Meixner held the function of deputy chairman between 1924 and 1925.
