Matthias Ritter (politician, 1950)

Matthias Ritter (born November 23, 1950 in Naumburg (Saale) ) is a German economist and politician . From 1990 to 1994 he was a member of the Thuringian state parliament , initially for the CDU and from 1993 as a non-attached member of the state parliament for The Republicans .

After graduating from high school in 1969, he studied economics, which Matthias Ritter completed in 1975 with a degree in economics. From 1976 to 1985, Ritter was a district councilor for finance, then in Gera until 1990 as a city councilor for energy, traffic and news. From 1990 head of department for finances in the district administration authority Gera. From 1975 to 1985, Ritter was a member of the district executive board of the CDU Halle-West, a member of the Halle-West district assembly and a member of the Gera city council.
