Matthias Schrappe

Matthias Schrappe (born January 24, 1955 in Hamburg ) is a German internist with additional qualifications in hematology , internal oncology and gastroenterology .

From 1981 to 1996 he worked at three municipal and two university clinics. From 2002 to 2005 he was the full-time medical director of the Marburg University Clinic , from October 2006 to February 2007 scientific director of the University of Witten / Herdecke . From June 2007 to June 2011, Schrappe was the general representative of the supervisory board of the hospital of the University of Frankfurt am Main .

Schrappe has been teaching since 1990, among others in Cologne, Marburg, Graz, Luxembourg and Trier. 1996 it appointed the University of Cologne to associate professor . He has taught internal medicine , quality management , evidence-based medicine , patient safety and risk management , among other things . He also fulfills functions in specialist societies and committees.
