Matthias Seack
Matthias Seack (born July 28, 1962 ) is a former German canoeist and trauma surgeon .
He won two bronze medals at the 1982 Canoe Racing World Championships and took part in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles . Here he reached fifth place in the K-2 1000 m and seventh place in the K-2 500 m class. His twin brother Oliver Seack was also an Olympic canoeist.
After finishing his sporting career, Seack studied medicine and is now head of trauma surgery in a Hamburg hospital.
