Matzenhofen is a part of the municipality Unterroth in the Swabian district of Neu-Ulm .

history

Matzenhofen is mentioned as "Mazhinhoven" as early as 1126 among the property of the Reichsabbey Rot an der Rot . In the Urbar of high pin Augsburg in 1316 an estate "Mazzenhoven" was performed. It is still unclear whether one of the two properties is today's Matzenhofen.
