The Maumee Bight is a 10 km wide bay on the west side of the Antarctic Ross Island . It belongs to the southern section of Wohlschlag Bay .
It has been named since 1999 after the USNS Maumee tanker , which was used to supply the McMurdo station from 1964 to 1985 .
