Maurice Rosenfield

Maurice Rosenfield (born July 8, 1914 in Chicago , USA , † October 30, 2005 in Glencoe , Illinois ) was an American lawyer and film producer .

Maurice Rosenfield became known in the 1950s as a lawyer for Playboy , for whom he successfully won several lawsuits against attempts at censorship . In 1964 he represented the legendary Lenny Bruce in an obscenity case . Rosenfield was also able to win this trial. In the 1970s, Rosenfield moved into the film business and became a film producer. His best-known film was The Last Game (Bang the Drum Slowly, 1973, with Michael Moriarty and Robert De Niro ).
