Maurice Vincent
Maurice Vincent (born September 20, 1955 in Saint-Étienne ) is a French politician . From 2008 to 2014 he was Mayor of Saint-Étienne.
Life
Vincent taught economics at the University of Saint-Etienne . whose president he was from 1997 to 2002. From 1990 to 1993 he was also director there.
Vincent has been a member of the Parti socialiste since 1980 . He has been a politician in Saint-Étienne since March 2008 and was mayor there from 2008 to 2014. He was Senator for Loire from 2011 to 2017 and regional councilor from 2014 to 2017.
Vincent is married and has two children.
