Mauricio Neiza Alvarado (born September 3, 1981 in Sora ) is a Colombian road cyclist.

Career

Mauricio Neiza won a stage in the U23 edition of the Vuelta a Colombia in 2002 . In 2004 he was successful in part of the elite race. In 2006 he was third in the national time trial championship and he won a stage at the Clásica International de Tulcan. He then became a professional in 2007 with the Colombian Continental Team UNE-Orbitel . In the 2009 season he won a stage each at the Clásica Club Deportivo Boyacá and at the Vuelta a Guatemala . In 2010 he was successful at one stage each of the Vuelta a Boyacà and the Vuelta a Bolivia .
