Maurizio Benedetto Olivieri

Maurizio Benedetto Olivieri (* 1769 ; † 1845 ) was an Italian Dominican and professor of theology at universities in Northern Italy .

At the beginning of the 19th century he was theological expert on several occasions for the papal commission for the Sanctum Officium , including in 1815 in the cases of the Württemberg professors Johann Sebastian von Drey and Karl Wachter . For the years 1834-1835 he was elected General Master of the Dominican Order.
