Mauro Pawlowski (born April 24, 1971 in Koersel ) is a Belgian musician. From 2005 to 2017, Pawlowski played guitar in the Belgian indie rock / alternative band dEUS . He is involved in a dozen projects that include not only the music but also the author and theater scene.

Between 1991 and 2000 Pawlowski played with Rudy Trouvé in the line-up of the Belgian indie rock / alternative band Kiss My Jazz and between 1992 and 1998 in the band Evil Superstars . From 2003 to 2015 he was a member of the group Club Moral, in which he played drums. Since 2004 he has also been a member of The Love Substitutes group as a drummer . In 2007 he founded the band Gruppo di Pawlowski, in which he sings and which consists of other well-known musicians from the Antwerp music scene: Sjoerd Bruil, Ben Younes Zahnoun, Pascal Deweze, Elko Blijweert, Jeroen Stevens. In 2007 he founded the band Hitsville Drunks with the musicians Sjoerd Bruil, Jan Wygers and Herman Houbrechts. With Elko Blijweert and Jeroen Stevens he composes and improvises music for the productions of the choreographer Wim Vandekeybus, the founder of the dance ensemble Ultima Vez Musik, a. a. for the piece "Speak low is you speak love" (2015). In the improvisation ensemble Othin Spake he worked with Jozef Dumoulin and Teun Verbruggen .

Pawlowski attracted international attention with his own guitar version of the Belgian national anthem, which he composed on the occasion of the anniversary celebrations for the 35th anniversary of the famous Belgian concert hall Ancienne Belgique in Brussels and played in the presence of the royal couple.
