Rudy Trouvé

Rudy Trouvé (born January 28, 1967 in Willrijk ) is a Belgian musician.

Trouvé studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent and in 1991 founded an art think tank for music and visual arts in the Heavenhotel , a former brothel. Between 1993 and 1996 Trouvé played in the line-up of the Belgian indie rock / alternative band dEUS . When the group became successful, he left the band to work on his own projects. This resulted in the group Dead Man Ray together with Daan Stuyven . He was also a member of the Kiss My Jazz formation with Mauro Pawlowski .

Trouvé is valued as an improviser and has worked with many artists on stage and in the studio in loose formations. Since 2004 he has been a member of The Love Substitutes group (also with Mauro Pawlowski). So far he has been involved in over 70 publications as a musician.

In addition, Trouvé works as an artist; In addition to some dEUS record covers that stem from his work, his pictures and works, which he often designed with wax , have been shown in a number of exhibitions, v. a. shown in Belgium.
