Max Eyth commemorative coin

The Max Eyth commemorative coin was donated in 1950 by the Max Eyth Society for Agricultural Engineering to recognize outstanding individual achievements in agricultural engineering.

After the merger of the 'Max-Eyth-Gesellschaft für Agrartechnik' with the 'VDI-Gesellschaft Agrartechnik' to form the 'Max-Eyth-Gesellschaft Agrartechnik im VDI' in 1995, the Max-Eyth commemorative coin was given a VDI award.

The Max Eyth commemorative coin has been awarded by the Max Eyth Society for Agricultural Technology in the VDI since 1995 .

The cast bronze plaque bears the portrait of Max Eyth on the front and a stylized representation of an Egyptian pyramid, the sphinx and a tractor with the inscription: For special services to agricultural technology on the reverse .
