Max Schmeling Medal
The Hamburg Senate honors companies for their social commitment with the Max Schmeling Medal . It was donated in 2005, the year boxer Max Schmeling died , to honor companies
- in which it is part of the corporate culture to be socially involved in the activities of helpers in voluntary organizations and
- where employees are given the necessary freedom to carry out this activity.
Award winners
Dr. Kristina Stabernack, fourth generation owner of the STI Group as well as president and founder of the "HOME for kids" foundation and her mother Ingrid Stabernack together with Ulrich Baier received the Max Schmeling Medal for volunteer work from Hamburg's First Mayor Ole von Beust . The year is not documented.
