Max Delys

Max Christian Delys (born July 11, 1951 in Cannes , † May 30, 1983 ) was a French actor .

Life

Delys, the son of a respected medic, was an active swimmer in his youth and was a national runner-up in the 100 meter freestyle in 1976. At the age of seventeen, he left his family with his girlfriend and moved to Rome, where he soon began working as a model and actor. Between 1969 and 1977 he played daredevils in several Italian genre films; After his first films, he studied at the Actors Studio in New York and then returned to Rome. From March 1973 he appeared in a total of 351 photographic novels , the last of which was printed in June 1983. In 1978, after financial problems and probably involved in drug problems, he had left Rome and returned to Cannes, where he fell ill soon afterwards. According to actor Roberto Farnesi , he died when he was just over 30 years old.
