Max Frey (choir director)
Max Frey (born June 24, 1941 ) is a German choir director.
Life
Frey was professor of choral conducting at the University of Music and Theater in Munich . During the last half century, hundreds of recordings for CD and radio have been made under his leadership. He is the editor of countless literature for choirs and schools at all renowned German music publishers . In 1979 he founded the madrigal choir of the Munich University of Music and Theater . He led it until he retired in 2006. Max Frey is in demand as a juror at choir competitions and as a lecturer at national and international master classes.
