Max Manilius Krauße (born February 5, 1870 in Neudörfel, † May 1931 in Zwickau ) was a German politician of the SPD . From 1909 to 1920 he was a member of the state parliament in Saxony.

Life

After attending primary school, Krauße worked as a coal miner until 1901. He then worked briefly as an employee at the mining funeral fund "Glück auf". From there he moved in 1902 as a union officer for the miners' association. Until January 1907 he was district leader of the miners 'association in Zwickau, from February 1907 to December 1919 district leader of the miners' association in Lugau and from January 1920 until his death in 1931 director of the Saxon coal syndicate .

Krauße was a member of the Lugau municipal council and chairman of the social democratic education and youth committee. From 1909 to 1918 he was a representative of the 36th rural electoral district of the Second Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament .

During the November Revolution, Krauße was one of the representatives of the Saxon State Labor Council. From 1919 to 1920 he was a member of the Saxon People's Chamber for the SPD . In the course of the split in the Saxon SPD, he joined the Old Social Democratic Party of Saxony in 1926 . He became a member of the extended ASPS state board and chairman of the party in Zwickau.
