Career

Rauhofer, who plays in the position of the striker , comes from the small club Atletico Ituzaingo in Maldonado , which is located near the Atlantic coast . In the 2008/09 season he played for the second division club Deportivo Maldonado . From there he moved to the Spanish Segunda División for Albacete Balompié in the 2009/10 season , where he was part of the reserve squad. After returning to Uruguay, he joined Liverpool Montevideo , but was initially only in the reserve squad ( Tercera ). He was used there regularly and was repeatedly among the top scorers. On November 20, 2011, he celebrated his team's 2-1 away win against Centro Atlético Fénix , when he was substituted on for Elías Figueroa by coach Julio César Antúnez in the 63rd minute , his debut in the ranks of the Uruguayan first division club. As part of the preparation for the Torneo Clausura 2012 he was part of the first division squad and the goal scorer in the preparatory games. While only three appearances as a substitute were recorded in the 2011/12 season, he was increasingly in the starting line-up since the beginning of the 2012/13 season. In that season, depending on the sources, Rauhofer completed a total of 17 or 18 other games in the Primera División and scored three goals. In the Apertura 2013 he came up to his last game on December 7, 2013 five times in the Primera División to train and scored one goal. In January 2014, he moved to league rivals Sud América . There he was used nine times (no goal) in the Primera División until the end of the Clausura 2014. In the 2014/15 season he played in eleven first division games (two goals). From mid-April 2015 he continued his career on loan in the USA with Real Monarchs . He played 17 games (nine goals) in the USL and one encounter (no goal) in the US Open Cup. He returned to Sud América in the second half of October 2015. There are no deployment dates for the 2015/16 season. At the beginning of February 2016 he switched to Argentina on loan to Club Social y Atlético Guillermo Brown . There he ran ten times in the Primera B Nacional and scored two goals. In mid-August 2016, he joined the Orange County Blues . With the Americans, he completed seven league games and scored three times in the opposing goal. In the second half of January 2017, he returned to his former employer, Deportivo Maldonado. Since then (as of July 25, 2017) he has been used in eight second division games (no goal).
