Max Samter

Max Samter (born March 3, 1908 in Berlin , † February 9, 1999 in Evanston ) was an American physician (immunologist) of German origin.

Life

In 1937 he fled to the USA, since 1946 he was a professor at the University of Illinois in Chicago . Among other things, he was editor of American Lectures in Allergy (1950) and co-editor of the American Journal of Allergy (1952).
