Max Wykes-Joyce

Max Wykes-Joyce (* 1924 in Worcestershire ; † 2002) was a British literary critic .

biography

In World War II Wykes-Joyce served in the Royal Air Force . He was a member of the International Association of Art Critics and worked as an art critic for the International Herald Tribune from 1967 to 1987. He was also accepted into the Academia Italia delle Arti and received the gold medal from it.

Wykes-Joyce authored several books on art
