The Maxan Creek is a 40 km long tributary of the Bulkley Lake in the north of the Canadian province of British Columbia .

The headwaters of Maxan Creek is at an altitude of 880  m near the John Brown Lakes in the northwest of the Nechako Plateau , 20 km southwest of Burns Lake . The Maxan Creek flows in a northerly direction and after 20 km reaches the 5.5 km long Maxan Lake , which it leaves again at its northern end. Then it meanders another 13 km in a northerly direction before it flows into the south shore of Bulkley Lake. This is drained by the Bulkley River .

The catchment area of Maxan Creek covers about 373 km². The mean discharge is 2.59 m³ / s. May is usually the month with the highest drainage.
