Maximilian Kieffer (born June 25, 1990 in Bergisch Gladbach ) is a German professional golfer who is currently active on the European Tour .

Career

Max Kieffer learned to play golf at the Golf Club Hubbelrath in Düsseldorf , where Martin Kaymer began his career. He represented the German national team from 2005 to 2010 and Team Europe in the Junior Ryder Cup in 2006. At the end of 2010 Maximilian Kieffer became a professional golfer and played on the Challenge Tour until 2012 , where he won the Gujarat Kensville Challenge in January 2012 . At the end of 2012 he made it to the European Tour. His greatest success so far was a second place at the Open de España 2013, where he ended up against Raphaël Jacquelin in a historic jump-off over 9 holeslost out. In 2015 he was among the top 60 players in Europe with a very successful season.
