Maximilian Werda (born October 5, 1991 in Berlin ) is a former German racing cyclist .

Career

Maximilian Werda was third in a stage of the Tour de Berlin in 2011 . Then drove for the Thuringian Energy Team in 2012 . In 2013 he joined Team Stölting . There he was runner-up in the U23 road race of the German championship in the same year and was also third in the U23 class around the financial center Eschborn-Frankfurt .

In 2014 Werda won the overall standings at the Polish Tour of Małopolska stage race and won two additional stages. In addition, there was stage six on the eighth stage of the Tour of Portugal . At the Istrian Spring Trophy in 2014, he finished fifth overall.

After missing the jump to a UCI WorldTeam , Werda drove another season and ended his career at the end of 2015. As early as 2015, he worked alongside sports for a timber wholesaler as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant . In 2016 he began his professional career at POC, the former supplier to Team Stölting.
