Career
Kuraly played during his junior years initially under-class with the Ohio Blue Jackets , before he moved to the Indiana Ice in the United States Hockey League in the course of the 2009/10 season, thus excluding a career in the Ontario Hockey League . The striker played for the Ice until 2012 and was elected to the Second All-Star Team of the league after a good season with 70 points in 54 games at the end of the 2011/12 season. After his first year in the league, he had already been selected in the fifth round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft in 133rd place by the San Jose Sharks from the National Hockey League . In the summer of 2012, Kuraly moved to Miami University in his home state, Ohio, and played for the university's ice hockey team for four years, initially in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association and later in the newly founded National Collegiate Hockey Conference . During this time, he won the NCHC championship with the team at the end of the 2014/15 season and became part of a transfer deal in June 2015. Together with the first-round suffrage of the San Jose Sharks in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft , the rights to Kuraly were given to the Boston Bruins , who in return secured the services of goalkeeper Martin Jones .
March 2016 Kuraly was finally by the Bruins per entry contract taken for three years under contract. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season , the American was part of the Providence Bruins farm team in the American Hockey League . After performing well, he was called up to the Boston NHL squad for the first time in early November and made his debut on November 3, 2016.
