National Collegiate Athletic Association / Ice Hockey
The American College championship in ice hockey is presented annually by the National Collegiate Athletic Association held. It is considered to be the most important ice hockey championship, which is held exclusively in the USA, as both the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League are organized together with Canada .
The NCAA's final ice hockey series is called "Frozen Four" . Men and women play in two divisions, with Division I playing the national champions. The best player in the men's category is presented with the Hobey Baker Memorial Award . At the same time there is the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award for the women .
