The Providence College is a private, koedukationale , Catholic University in the US Providence , the capital of the state of Rhode Iceland . It was founded in 1917.
The university's sports team, the Providence Friars , play in the Big East Conference . The Dunkin 'Donuts Center is home to the men's basketball team. Well-known players of the Friars were u. a. Lenny Wilkens , Raymond Flynn , John Thompson , Jimmy Walker and Otis Thorpe .
