Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award

The Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award is an ice hockey trophy from the US National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). It is awarded annually to the best female college ice hockey player.

The award is named after former American ice hockey player Patty Kazmaier-Sandt, who was an outstanding defender at Princeton University between 1981 and 1986 . She died on February 15, 1990 at the age of 28 of complications from a rare blood disease.

The record winner is Canadian Jennifer Botterill , who won the trophy twice in total.
