Initially, she was active for Northeastern University until the summer of 2013 and was able to add another gold and silver medal at world championships to her collection of medals. She then left university and joined USA Hockey to prepare intensively for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi . There the Americans won the silver medal.
