As a student, she played for Choate Rosemary Hall and the Connecticut Polar Bears U19 team . After graduating from high school, she had numerous offers from colleges to accept. After she finished her studies in 2012, she was signed by the Boston Blades from the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) and won the Clarkson Cup with her new team in 2013 . With this, Knight has won the three most important trophies in women's ice hockey. For the performances shown in the course of the season, she was also named Most Valuable Player . In 2015, she repeated winning the title with the Blades before moving to the Boston Pride from the newly formed National Women's Hockey League . With these, she won the Isobel Cup in the league's premier season and remained loyal to the team until the end of the 2016/17 season . She then prepared for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang and, following the tournament, joined the Les Canadiennes de Montréal from the CWHL in March 2018 .
