The University of New Hampshire (also UNH ) is a public university with the main campus in Durham and a college in Manchester . With 15,000 students, the UNH is the largest university in the US state of New Hampshire .
history
In 1866 the university was founded as the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts in Hanover . After a donation of land, the university moved to Durham in 1893. In 1923 the name was finally changed to University of New Hampshire .
