Brandon Carlo (* 26. November 1996 in Colorado Springs , Colorado ) is an American ice hockey player , who at the since October 2016 Boston Bruins in the National Hockey League on the position of the defense plays.
Career
Carlo first played in his home state of Colorado before playing for the Tri-City Americans in the Western Hockey League from 2013 . The defender was selected in the second round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft in 37th position by the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League , who finally signed him in September 2015, but allowed him to play for another year in the WHL. Only towards the end of the 2015/16 season did Boston use the American in the American Hockey League with the Providence Bruins .
For the 2016/17 season Carlo earned a place in the Boston Bruins' NHL squad and made his debut there on October 13th. Over the course of the season, the defender did not miss any of the 82 games.
International
Carlo represented his home country at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament 2013 and the U20 Junior World Championships in 2015 and 2016 . In addition to the silver medal at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament, he also won the bronze medal at the U20 World Junior Championships in 2016.
