May Hansen
May Hansen (born May 8, 1953 in Fredrikstad ) is a Norwegian midwife and politician of the Sosialistisk Venstreparti .
Life
Hansen was born in Fredrikstad in 1953. After finishing school she learned the profession of midwife. In addition to her professional activity, Hansen began to be politically active and became a member of the Sosialistisk Venstreparti in Østfold . From 1991 to 2007 she was a councilor in the local parliament in Moss . Between 1987 and 1993 she was the so-called Vararepresentantin , i.e. substitute member of the Fylkesting von Østfold, where she was deployed in 1989 and 1993. In the Norwegian parliamentary elections in 2001 she was able to move into the Storting as a member and in the parliamentary elections in Norway in 2005 she was re-elected as a member until 2009.
