Maya Lindholm 2012

Maya Lindholm (born December 20, 1990 ) is a German wheelchair basketball player .

Lindholm plays for Hamburger SV with whom the development player became German champion in 2010 and 2013. In 2009 she was appointed to the national team and won the European Championship with the German team in Great Britain . In 2010 she became vice world champion in Birmingham and European champion again in 2011 in Israel. At the 2012 Paralympics in London , Lindholm won the gold medal with the German team.

In 2012, Federal President Joachim Gauck awarded Lindholm the Silver Laurel Leaf . When she was voted Hamburg's Sportswoman of the Year 2012, she came second behind her teammate Edina Müller .
