Maziar Kouhyar (born September 30, 1997 ) is an Afghan football player who is currently without a club .

Career

Club career

Kouhyar began his career in the Coventry City youth team , after being fired from their youth division, he joined Walsall FC in 2013 . There he signed his first professional contract in February 2016. He made his debut in August 2016 in the 2-0 loss to Chesterfield FC . In December of the same year, he extended his contract until the end of the 2018/19 season. Since then, Kouhyar has been without a new club.

National team

In October 2016, Kouhyar was nominated for the first time for the Afghan national team for the game against Malaysia , but was unable to participate due to a knee injury that he sustained during the international trip. Almost a year later, on August 30, 2017, he finally made his debut in the 2-0 loss to Oman .
