Mazogs

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mazogs is an adventure or maze game that was released in 1982 on the British home computer Sinclair ZX81.

Gameplay

The player has to cross a large labyrinth with his character to find a treasure . This must then be brought back to the starting point. At first you are still unarmed and die immediately if you come into contact with an unspecified or recognizable creature. Swords are hidden in several places , with which the opponents are no longer an obstacle. At certain points in the walls you can address a figure who then shows the right way to the treasure.

The title is now considered a classic and is one of the best games on the Sinclair ZX81 home computer.

The game was also popular in the GDR and was unofficially available for the robotron KC 87 (here with a green background).

successor

A successor appeared in 1983 under the name Maziacs , although it was no longer developed for the ZX81. The game was released for the Commodore 64 , Sinclair ZX Spectrum and MSX .
