The McClintock Ridge is a striking, east-west oriented and 11 km long mountain ridge in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Churchill Mountains it rises 10 km north of Rubin Peak in the Carnegie Range . Near the Mansergh Wall , it reaches a height of around 1400 m and drops to around 400 m as far as the Algie Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2003 after the American geneticist and Nobel Prize winner Barbara McClintock (1902-1992).
