McConchie Ridge is a rocky ridge in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Royal Society Range , it extends from Salient Peak in a southeastern direction.
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1985 after John A. McConchie, field research assistant in the geological survey of this area between 1979 and 1980 as part of the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program .
