Reiner Koch (born July 4, 1969 in Nuremberg ) is a German former basketball player . The development player became German champion and cup winner with Steiner Bayreuth .
career
Together with his brother Rolf , Koch, who took part in the European Championship in Yugoslavia with the German junior national team in the summer of 1988 , moved from Nuremberg to Steiner Bayreuth at the age of 17 . With Bayreuth he won the German championship and the DBB club cup in the 1988/89 season under coach Lester Habegger .
Later he also played for SSV Ulm in the basketball league , with Chemnitz in 1995 he made it to the 2nd basketball league .
Koch completed a degree in business administration and worked for companies such as Ferrero , Coca-Cola and Nike as well as a management consultant and consultant for basketball players.
