The McGregor nunatak is a nunatak in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Prince Olav Mountains, it rises northeast of the Red Raider Rampart and west of Mount Sellery .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it based on the name of the McGregor Glacier . Its namesake is Victor Raymond McGregor (1940-2000), geologist of a 1961-1962 campaign of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition .
