EB Wegener (life dates unknown) was a German soccer player .

Career

Wegener, midfielder of SC Schlesien Breslau , played in the championships organized by the Association of Wroclaw Ball Game Clubs .

During his membership in the club he won the title of Wroclaw Master twice. Out of five clubs, he and his team prevailed undefeated after home and away matches and with three points ahead of SV Blitz Breslau , and in the following season six clubs with two points ahead of FC Breslau 98 . As a result, his team was represented at the finals for the German championship . He made his debut on April 9, 1905 in a 5-1 first round win over SC Alemannia Cottbus . His second final game was lost on April 29, 1906 against BFC Hertha 92 with 0: 7.

With the Southeast German Football Association , founded on March 18, 1906 together with the Niederlausitzer Ballspiel-Vereine , he was used in the 1st class of the Breslau district class , one of four district classes at the time, in the 1906/07 season . As a champion emerged from this with three points to FC Breslau 98, he consequently also took part in the subsequent final round of the Southeast German Championship , which was held in the knockout system .
