The SC Alemannia Cottbus (full name Sport-Club 1896 Alemannia Cottbus , traditional spelling also Allemannia ) was a football club from Cottbus .
history
The Germania football club, founded in Cottbus in 1893 , became the Alemannia 1896 Cottbus sports club on June 19, 1896 . In 1900, SC Alemannia was a founding member of the Niederlausitzer Ballspiel-Vereine association and in 1905 it won the Niederlausitz championship, which allowed participation in the German championship . In the first qualifying round, Alemannia Cottbus lost 1: 5 to SC Schlesien Breslau in Dresden .
Since 1906 the club belonged to the Southeast German Football Association , whose championship he won in 1909. In the subsequent final German Championship Alemannia Cottbus subject in Leipzig the SC Erfurt 95 with 3: 4 after extension. On October 1, 1913, Alemannia Cottbus merged with the Cottbus Hockey Club to form Cottbuser SC .
