McLaughlin Line Railroad

The McLaughlin Line Railroad ( AAR reporting mark: MCLR) was an American shunting railroad company in Pennsylvania .

The company was owned by the Metal Service Company and operated from 1985 to the early 1990s, a 3 kilometer long former line of the Pennsylvania Railroad in Apollo . Every year around 900 freight wagons were moved between the crossing point to the Norfolk Southern Railway (Apollo Junction) and the Metal Service Company's plant in Apollo. With the closure and the demolition of the factory, railway operations were also stopped.

The McLaughlin Line Railroad had two GE 80-ton locomotives and a Porter 65-ton .
